The uniquely shaped flower of this exotic tropical perennial resembles a bird's head in brilliant orange and blue colors. Greatest amount of blooms in the fall and winter but has occasional blooms year round. The Bird of Paradise is also a very attractive foliage plant forming clumps 3-4 feet high and lends a romantic feel to the landscape. This non-messy plant is perfect for poolside or surrounded by lower growing annuals. Low water usage. Cut flowers are beautiful to bring into any home.
